INSTRUCTIONS FOR ACCESSING THE VIRTUAL CONFERENCE
Participating to a virtual conference can be frustrating, as one sits alone before the screen with only limited possibilities to chat by text with other participants. But LES4ECE 2021 will take place in an innovative 100% virtual format.
LES4ECE 2021 will use the innovative Laval Virtual conferencing environment - the Virtual Campus - which allows a virtual experience close to a real-world conference. After setting up an avatar, you can walk around the site, meet colleagues and friends to discuss orally in private or in groups, watch stands and posters and engage discussions around them, and of course follow presentations. And we'll even plan social events!
Your participation to LES4ECE 2021 in a 100% virtual format will require the download of the Virbela platform.
Instructions to download the Virbela plateform before the conference:
Please find below the pre-requisites to download the Virbela platform to send to your IT department in order to check that the download will not cause you any difficulties (firewall problems for example).

Once these checks have been made you can launch the executable file on your computer.
However, you have no Laval’s technical assistance, and no access to the Green Center before the dates below.
Wednesday 9 June
Laval Virtual will send an e-mail to the registered persons inviting them to download the platform if it is not already done.
Laval Virtual’s technical assistance will be available from this date for any difficulty you may have concerning the platform.
Monday 14 June and Tuesday 15 June
Laval Virtual will send an invitation to the registered persons giving them access to the Green Center.
You will be able to start familiarising yourself with the virtual space before the start of the conference.
Speakers, authors of posters and exhibitors will also be able to download their files.

Assistance will also be present on site throughout the conference to provide you with all the help you need (orientation, circulation, loading of presentations for speakers and authors of posters, exhibitors, etc.).
